We are looking for a Monitoring Engineer for our Infrastructure Department.
Your main tasks will be:
- Support highly loaded SDG Infrastructure;
- Look after the infrastructure with help of Zabbix and Grafana systems;
- Process incidents according to regulations and policy;
- Resolve infrastructure issues by instructions;
- Assist SRE in issues resolving;
- Set tasks for Zabbix specialists to setup and adjust monitoring alerts;
- Prepare initial versions of postmortem documents in case of the critical issues.
We expect from you:
- Experience with monitoring systems: Preferably experience with Zabbix, also familiarity with Graphite and Prometheus is welcomed;
- Deep understanding of operating systems: Linux and Windows Server;
- Knowledge and experience with web servers: IIS and Nginx;
- Experience automating configuration and management of systems using Ansible;
- Familiarity and experience with message queues, including RabbitMQ;
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and scripting purposes;
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues and analyze monitoring data to ensure system stability and reliability;
- Night shift work experience - required;
- High level of responsibility, autonomy, and a drive for professional growth.
